Trends Journal Publisher Gerald Celente Wins The Local 11th Annual New York’s Funniest Reporter Show
Gerald Celente, the Publisher of the Trends Journal has won 11th Annual New York’s Funniest Reporter Show (www.nyfunniestreporter.com) which took place on June 10th at Comic Strip Live comedy club in Manhattan. Ed Kalegi from The Ed Kalegi Radio Show and Michael P. Regan from Bloomberg Markets Live both tied for runner up. Christine Harvey from New Living Magazine was the second runner up.
The event, produced by Goldman McCormick Public Relations (www.goldmanmccormick.com) also featured Maria Dorfner (Good Morning America), Alycia Powers (Inside Edition), Aaron Elstein (Crain’s New York Business), and Matt Shirley (CGTN America TV).David Weiss (1010 WINS) was the show emcee and last year’s co-winner Ronn Blitzer (Law & Crime Network) made a guest appearance.
New York’s Funniest Reporter show benefited the Humane Society of New York, and was sponsored by Todd Marlon Luxury Timepieces, Chalkin’ Social®, and iCloth.
The annual show has featured over 70 media professionals through the years performing stand up comedy to raise money for charity. Participants have included media personalities from NBC, WPIX, Good Morning America, CBS, NY1, Fox News, Star Magazine, ABC, News 12, MSNBC, CNN, The Resident, New York Post, and New York Daily News.
