Lauren began her television career while attending The George Washington University in Washington DC. There she worked part time as a desk assistant for Fox News Channel’s DC Bureau. After graduating, she moved back to New York working as a producer for Fox’s cable morning show F ox & Friends. In 2003 she left Fox News to be the morning anchor at NBC affiliate WETM 18 News in Elmira, New York. From there she was hired as the evening anchor for News12 Long Island- the station she grew up watching. After three years in her hometown she was hired back at Fox News Channel as the overnight breaking news anchor and reporter.

Sivan initially began her career in journalism as an overnight reporter and anchor at News 12 Long Island. In 2003, she began working for New York-based WTEM-18 News. After two years there, she joined the Fox News Channel as an overnight headline reader in 2008. While her time at the FNC, she appeared in several programs including ‘The Fox Record’, ‘On The Record’, ‘Strategy Room’, and ‘Red Eye’.

Furthermore, Sivan left the Fox News Channel to join Long Island-based FOX 11 (KTTV)in 2010. Apart from her work in journalism, she has also established herself as a popular actress. She has appeared in movies and television series including ‘Nobodies’, ‘Web Cam Girls’, ‘Ray Donovan’, ‘Drunk History’, ‘Raymond & Lane’, ‘Taken 3’, ‘Murder of a Cat’ and ‘Transcendence’.

Sivan has garnered two Emmy Award nominations to date. She received the first nomination for covering the 2006 Israel/Lebanon conflict from Jerusalem and she received the other one for reporting the immigration issue from Mexico.
